The German trade journal TASPO, covering horticulture and professional landscaping, has published two articles on the revegetation and erosion control project carried out in San Severino Lucano (Basilicata, southern Italy) with the BIOVER System by Full Service Green Solutions. The project also features in the print edition, issue 40 of 2 October 2026.
On steep, stony slopes where asbestos occurs naturally in the underlying geology, approximately 19 hectares were treated by helicopter and a further 7 from the ground. The system consists of two successive applications: HYDROTER, to improve growing conditions, and HYDROMAT® MFL, a bonded fiber matrix that protects the surface from wash-off until vegetation is established. The revegetation is part of a wider program to make the area safe.
The second article examines when aerial revegetation is technically and economically justified, drawing on Austrian case studies and the San Severino Lucano project.
